Senior Portraits The best thing about capturing high school seniors is seeing who they inspire to be someday. As I photograph them, I ask what they WILL do to change the world. Some would like to save animals and help the poor, and others would like to run their own businesses. I love listening to them as they say where their next step is in life. If they're headed to college, trade school, traveling, etc. Being at this age is such a fun and exciting part of one's life for both the senior, and the parents! All parents wish their kids would stay little but love watching them grow into young men and women. Sometimes seniors can be very shy and timid in their session but to break them out of their shell, I make jokes, ask them questions, or even say, "Is that REALLY how you smile because I don't think it is!" which of course gets great results. I like having an open-minded session with seniors and hope to open their mind even more as they leave about what the world will be like and how they CAN change it!
